Subwoofer S 5000 SW

The S 5000 SW of the System 5 THX Select 2 set impressively continues Teufel’s tradition of very powerful subwoofers. A 300 mm neodymium woofer with tremendous stroke using a down-fire configuration operates within a 55-litre housing, Teufel’s trademark DPU technology means interference-free bass reproduction, even at extremely high volume levels.

By combining two of these powerful subwoofers, we have been able to meet the high demands of THX Select 2: 105 dB continuous output at 25 Hz minimum frequency at -3 dB, without having to construct a subwoofer of gigantic proportions.
