Columa® 700 R
The Columa 700 R isn't a loudspeaker set for the everyman. It's not for owners of fake antique furniture, and it's not for students living out of cardboard boxes. This is a loudspeaker set for people who value inspired, modern and bold interior design - people who will not dumb down their sophisticated surroundings with cheap technology.
The impressive-looking all-in-one Columa 700 R 5.1 system with its dynamically curved design easily rises to the challenge. Most importantly, it does this without compromising its sound quality. This is not a case of sound or design but a case of sound and design.
The system's superb Teufel sound quality is produced firstly and foremostly by the CL 70 FR column speakers. These speakers were painstakingly designed and calibrated by the Teufel developers, ensuring an extremely precise, transparent and dynamic signal reproduction.
The tweeters' special waveguides guarantee a balanced, wide-angle dispersion of the treble frequencies so that the aural enjoyment isn't just limited to the listeners in the centre seats.
The same concept applies to the horizontal CL 70 C centre speaker; this features an identical driver setup to the column speakers, ensuring a perfectly homogeneous surround sound field.
All the speakers are powered from a six-channel amplifier housed in the subwoofer cabinet. The elegant-looking curved subwoofer of the Columa 700 R not only provides a solid bass foundation - it is also the brains of this home theatre system. The CL 700/6 SWR contains a fully fledged multi-channel receiver with three analogue inputs and two digital inputs, a Dolby Digital/dts decoder, Dolby Prologic, a 300 watt power amplifier, a remote control, and an AM/FM radio.
This means you can connect all your audio sources such as DVD players/recorders, TV, satellite/cable decoders, computers, MP3 players, game consoles and VCRs directly to the loudspeaker set. An external surround receiver is no longer needed. Everything connects directly to the subwoofer's input panel; even stereo sources are converted into virtual surround sound. All the system's functions are easily controlled remotely from the couch or anywhere else in the room. There isn't anything to hinder the visual and acoustic enjoyment of this system.

Column Speaker CL 70 FR
These boldly designed column speakers ensure the Columa 700 makes an eye-catching first impression. What’s more, their dynamic exterior is matched by their superb acoustic response. The tweeter’s special waveguide guarantees a balanced, wide-angle dispersion of the treble frequencies so that the aural enjoyment isn’t just limited to the listeners in the centre seats. The two mid-range drivers are positioned as a D’Apollito array and accurately match the tweeter.The cabinet is made from cast aluminium. Its triangular base mount is an acoustic and visual masterstroke. The massive gold-plated speaker connectors allow for cable diameters of up to 6 mm².

Centre Speaker CL 70 C
The horizontal CL 70 C centre speaker is ideally positioned above or below a flatscreen TV. The combination of two mid-range drivers and a tweeter with waveguide ensures wide-angled, uninterrupted signal dispersion; perfect dialogue clarity is maintained even for off-centre listening positions.As the same speaker drivers are used as in the CL 70 FR column speakers, the surround sound image is completely homogeneous. The table mount shipped with the unit ensures safe mounting close to the TV set.

5.1 DVD Receiver Subwoofer CL700/6 SW+R
This unit is the brains of the Columa 700 R home theatre – a subwoofer and surround receiver in one.The superb multi-channel receiver integrated into the subwoofer cabinet is designed for connecting audio sources such as DVD players/recorders, TV, satellite/cable decoders, computers, MP3 players, game consoles and VCRs. In total, the receiver provides three analogue and two digital inputs. The receiver comes complete with an AM/FM radio, a Dolby Digital/dts decoder, Dolby Prologic, and numerous setup options – all of which can be accessed from the remote control.
Combined with a 250 mm long-throw bass driver and the five satellite speakers of the Columa 700 R set, the power amplifier’s 300 watt output is designed for audio playback in rooms sized up to 30 m².
