The Impaq 4000 is a fully inclusive sound package for real surround sound playback from five individual satellite loudspeakers and a subwoofer. This combination is designed for rooms up to 25 sqm.
Sound central
The extremely small controller (5 cm high) forms the basis of your home cinema setup. It connects the DVD player, radio, Dolby/DTS decoder and the amplifiers in one housing.
DVD player with upscaling
The disc playback handles all normal formats - including MP3s, WMA and DivX. Optimal playback through upscaling from 1080p guarantees excellent production from your DVDs. You receive the optimum high definition display, with HDMI/1 (Vers. 1.3a) and further outputs making sure you're secure for the future as well.
Radio, RDS, Remote
For radio receiving, the Impaq 4000 has you covered with AM/FM radio reception and 50 station memory spots for optimal immediate play. RDS technology ensures you always know where you're at, thanks to a scrolling display of the current station name. The remote control allows you easy changing from wherever you're sitting.
400 powerful watts
The last - and most important - aspect of the Impaq 4000 is its absolutely intense sound. Through a 400 watt subwoofer with 5 x 50 watts of power for the satellites and 1 x 150 watts for the subwoofer, this system can overfill a room of up to 30 m2 with hair-raising home cinema sound.

Volume isn't everything. These compact loudspeakers are harmoniously perfect when in play with the small yet amazingly powerful satellite speakers.The high-gloss lacquerred aluminium housing uses two cellulose mid-range drivers (80MM) in the D’Appolito arrangement and a 25 mm titanium tweeter. Using intensive measuring and Klippel technology, the speakers are optimised for your sound. And your result? Immense volume performance, free from any discernable distortion by simultaneous frequency play!
There’s a wall-hanger on the back of the housing for direct and easy setup to your wall. Alternatively, you can use the M 60 P table feet to set the speakers up under the TV or anywhere else you’d like.
The IP 4000 FR is not available separately, but only as part of the Impaq 4000.

Subwoofer IP 4000/6 SW
It’s not big – but it sure sounds good! The 21 liter housing contains a 200 mm woofer with bass-reflex tuning for an amazing amount of bass sound. It also hosts a complete six channel amplifier that together with the 450 watt performance of the woofer and the five satellite speakers guarantees an astounding sound from something so small.The four delivered spikes are for the separation from the floor and Woofers are answerable for the accuracy of spacing.
The IP 4000 SW is not available separately, but only as part of the Impaq 4000.

5.1 DVD Preceiver IP 6000 DP
The extremely flat control unit is the heart of the Impaq 4000 and 6000 sets. In an only 5 cm-high housing you find four devices: DVD Player, Radio, surround decoder and preamplifier.The DVD player plays all formats – also MP3s, WMA and DivX. Upscaling to 1080p is also guaranteed for an optimal playback of your DVDs on the high-definition display. Through modern HDMI in and outputs you’re set fort he future as well. But also older video devices find their connection spot in the ports (Composite, Component, etc). The audio side is well covered with analogue and digital aspects, in three formats: optical, coaxial and USB (for sticks and MP3 players)
The AM/FM radio works with RDS and can save 50 of your favourite stations. The remote control allows easy, relaxed adjustment of your system from the comfort of your sofa.
This DVD Prereceiver is not available separately – only in conjunction with the Impaq 4000 or Impaq 6000.

05/2010"When we reached our conclusion on this set we found it largely coincided with the first impression we had during our preview. The workmanship of the IP 6000 DP DVD receiver and the speakers are of excellent quality, and all the components are built to high standards without blemishes. The glossy black finish of this set should easily fit into the ambiance of many different living rooms, and the slimline DVD receiver can be integrated just as easily into any living space. But to keep it concise, we'll get to the point: DVD. It's true the Impaq 4000 is still equipped with a DVD player which can't render high-definition or the most recent sound formats. But it renders conventional sound formats significantly better than competing system with Blu-ray integration and new HD sound formats do – from an audio perspective Berlin's Teufel has done solid work again. Anyone who is holding out and staying with DVDs – but wants to watch them in flawless 1080p upconversion and has high demands for audio quality – will be well served by the Impaq 4000."
