Columa® 100 "5.1-Set"

It’s truly amazing how precise sound can be from only an 8.6 cm thick housing: the Columa 100, the price-conscious column speaker set from Teufel, delivers amazing sound and fascinating details.

Flexibility
Columa 100 fits perfectly into your living room: choose from four columns (Set L) or the combination from two columns and two ‚short‘ satellites (Set M). The nice thing ist hat both speaker types can work in the front or from the back of your listening area.

Column/Satellites/Center
All the speakers are equipped with a 19 mm tweeter and two 70 mm midrange drivers in the same amazing identical housing.

Subwoofer
The 150 Hertz mark is achieved through a 200 mm woofer with a 100 watt amplifier that delivers the hefty bass. Just what you need.

25 qm
The AV Receiver ensures that this 5.1 set can belt music and Home cinema in rooms up to 25 sqm.

Works with every AV Receiver
The Columa 100 works with every AV Receiver, Radio, surround decoder or multichannel amplifier combination. The recommended output should be at least 5 x 30 watts. Check with the device recommendations beforehand. You can also rest assured that successors to this great set will have you set up as well.

Connection to the AV Receiver
The subwoofer is connected via a RCA cable to the subwoofer while the speakers are connected to the speaker outputs oft he AV Receiver. You can then connect such source devices as a DVD Player, PC, TV etc, directly to the corresponding inputs of the AV Receiver. The remote control then handles the overall levels of the system.

Optimal for rooms up to 25 sqm
We recommend the Columa 100 for rooms up to 25 sqm. The set sounds best in these dimensions. You’ll only need to consider the used aspect of space for your setup per sqm; adjacent rooms aren’t included in the listening area. In particular, high ceilings of 3.50 or higher you’ll need to add a further 1.5 meters to your size. The set can be used in other ways; for exact further requirements please contact our hotline: (030) - 300 9 300.

Replacement for your stereo
The Columa 100 is equally as suitable for music playback as for home cinema sound; so it can easily make your stereo speakers obsolete. We guarantee great stereo sound thanks to your satellite’s optimal development compared to more expensive sets.

Column Speaker CL 100 FR (pc.)

These impressive columns with their high-gloss black finish have been redeveloped and feature new Klippel-optimized 70 mm mid-range drivers, and a new 19mm mesh tweeter. A meticulously tuned frequency crossover guarantees balanced sound in all frequency ranges above the subwoofer's levels. An uncommon 87 db/w/m degree of efficiency means these speakers sound crisp and loud, even when powered by smaller amplifiers. With 100 watts of maximum capacity, the speakers also hold up under the demands of very powerful AV receivers.

Stable terminals which can easily handle cables up to 4 sqmm in size secure the loudspeaker cable of your choice.

These column speakers are only available as part of this 5.1 set. They are not available separately.

Satellite Speaker CL 100 FCR (pc.)

These "small" columns can be mounted on walls or placed in shelves or on speaker stands. Acoustically identical to the CL 100 FR columns, they can be used either as front or rear speakers – the same loudspeakers in the same enclosures come into play.

Two newly developed, Klippel-optimised 70 mm mid-range drivers and a new 19 mm mesh tweeter compose the audio foundation of the CL 100 FCR.

A meticulously tuned frequency crossover guarantees balanced sound in all frequency ranges above the subwoofer's levels. An uncommon 87 db/w/m degree of efficiency means these speakers, with 100 watts of maximum capacity, sound crisp and loud and provide high dynamics even in large rooms.

These column speakers are not available separately.

Centre Speaker CL 100 C

This magnetically screened loudspeaker ensures the audibility of the speech in film soundtracks. It should be placed directly under the screen for optimal effectiveness – either by use of its included speaker cradle or using a wall mount.

It delivers harmonious overall sound using the same three loudspeakers and enclosure volume as the CL 100 FR and CL 100 FCR speakers: two new, Klippel-optimised 70 mm mid-range drivers and also a new 19 mm mesh calotte tweeter.

It is not available separately.

Subwoofer US 5108/1 SW

This subwoofer features a long throw, 200 mm bass driver chassis optimized using the Klippel technique along with a generous, 24 litre enclosure with a bass reflex opening on its side. A newly-developed 100 watt RMS power output delivers incredible bass down to 38 Hz, something otherwise unheard of in its price class.

An internal limiter protects it from overmodulation and distortion. The front control allows for the subwoofer to be turned on immediately, and the sensitivity of its standby mode can be regulated on its rear panel.

Four resonance-dampening feet ensure solid placement and isolate it from the floor. The US 5108/SW comes in black with a glossy black front plate and is only available as part of a set.
