Consono® 25

The Consono 25 occupies the mid-range in Teufel's attractively priced line of entry-level home cinema system. In practice, this results in a concentration on the essentials: pure sound without distracting extras.

It's a small set with loud, clear sound. Use it to fill spaces up to 25 sqm with an authentic sound stage and enjoy countless great movie nights!

Satellites and center
The differentiated sound of Consono 25's front and rear satellites is the direct result of a division of labour between high- and mid-range drivers. The fifth (functionally identical) horizontal center loudspeaker adds an additional mid-range driver at the front of the configuration to guarantee particularly intelligible speech rendering.

Easy setup
The Consono 25 satellites are shipped ready to be wall-mounted, but they are also perfect for free positioning using Teufel's M 50 P floor stand. Simply connect the satellites and subwoofers to your AV receiver or sound system and start enjoying great surround sound right away.

Powerful subwoofer
At 100 watts RMS, the Consono 25's subwoofer delivers an over-proportional amount of power for the price of the set. It uses a 200 mm membrane in a bass reflex enclosure to reliably deliver bass down to 38 Hz.

Satellite Speaker CS 25 FCR

The compact CS 25 FR satellite speakers render all mid-to-high range frequencies with complete clarity. This is thanks to a two-way construction featuring 80 mm mid-range-driver and a 19 mm tweeter. Their successful interplay is regulated by a carefully-adapted frequency crossover.

Thanks to a curved front plate, the speakers radiate sound better than other designs would – past constructions have considerably less to offer in this regard. The (9 x 12.5 cm) grille is removable and mounted with a "floating" mechanism.

Place these speakers on a flat surface or wall-mount them using a separately-available shortlock (horizontal/vertical swivel). Or outfit them with the separately-available M 50 P table stands. The CS 25 FR speakers are only available as part of a set.

Centre Speaker CS 35 C

The CS 35 C center speaker is the acoustic equivalent of the CS 35 FR satellite speaker, but is set up for horizontal placement. In addition to its 19 mm high-range dome driver, it incorporates two 80 mm diameter mid-range drivers.

This ensures that human voices are particularly intelligible and faithful to detail, even when the listener isn't sitting in the optimal position (i.e. exactly in the middle). The speaker also radiates sound better thanks to a convex front plate.

The loudspeaker is delivered with a cradle, but can also be mounted on the wall. The CS 35 C is not offered individually, but only as part of a Consono 35 set.

Subwoofer US 5108/1 SW

This subwoofer features a long throw, 200 mm bass driver chassis optimized using the Klippel technique along with a generous, 24 litre enclosure with a bass reflex opening on its side. A newly-developed 100 watt RMS power output delivers incredible bass down to 38 Hz, something otherwise unheard of in its price class.

An internal limiter protects it from overmodulation and distortion. The front control allows for the subwoofer to be turned on immediately, and the sensitivity of its standby mode can be regulated on its rear panel.

Four resonance-dampening feet ensure solid placement and isolate it from the floor. The US 5108/SW comes in black with a glossy black front plate and is only available as part of a set.
