The satellites: Advantage coaxial driver
A coaxial driver has been designed especially for the Cubycon 2. It's got an extremely small diameter while at the same time having the best transmission. It consists of an 80 mm midrange speaker with 20 mm horn tweeters in Waveguide technology, with an additional 80 mm mid-sized woofer. All three drivers have an ultra-light membrane.
The advantages over a "regular" 1-way driver? An extremely balanced frequency response in the high ranges, a better directional playback, optimal speech clarity and higher, distortion free volumes.
Subwoofer: Thin yet deep
Teufel Audio's been working especially hard on this subwoofer, and it shows. A total of three high performance woofers with extremely small diameters (130 mm) with an extremely large hub were used to enjoy a low width of 21 cm when upright. In connection with the bass reflex design and extra reinforced housing, dry precise bass is the name of the game without negative impact on speech playback.
This active sub has 150 watts of pure performance with a Class D amplifier. An automatic start up and shut down, and power consumption of less than 0.5 watts in standby saves energy and your budget. It's easy placement thanks to its absolutely small size is another added bonus.
Interaction to spare!
Feel the bass without seeing it. Thanks to its ultra flat design and lush assembly this little powerhouse will make itself seen and not heard.
The design
This little beauty has a timeless and appealing design on the outside, too. The aluminium used for the satellites provides not only a gorgeous accent but also helps to create a low resonanced, precise sound. All drivers have been magnetically shielded, and the satellites have been expressly designed so that you can either stand them up or lay them down. The Teufel logo is magnetic and can be simply moved.
Suitable for any AV Receiver
Each satellite has a high sensitivity of 89 dB (2.83 V / ! m) and a pulse loading capacity of an astounding 140 watts. Distortion free high levels are guaranteed! Connect to your AV Receiver - no worries, it'll be great!
