LT® 5 R High Definition "5.1-Set L"

The best possible audiophile sound from amazing column speakers combined with an integrated AV Receiver inside a fantastic subwoofer in the most modern HD technology - this is the LT 5 R High Definition. This unbelievable system combines the best in sound playback with ease of use and an elegant look for your home listening area.

Just connect it all
The subwoofer is simultaneously an AV Receiver and bass speaker. It's practical, saves space and makes sense to have everything run simultaneously together. HDMI, Digital and Analogue connections are all arranged on the back for ease of use. Doesn't matter if your sources are new or old, CD, Blu-ray or a network player. Everything just connects to the LT 5 R High Definition and you're good to go.

External control unit
The main controls, including a headphone jack and a remote control receiver are contained on a separate small desk. This display is connected to the subwoofer via a cable so you can independently position both.

Dynamic sound
With an extremely high performance of the built-in 5.1 amplifier (700 watts) and an extremely well-equipped subwoofer (300 mm woofer) fills rooms up to 50 sq with vigorous outstanding sound.

Massive sound
Optimised frequency and high tech drivers complete the total audiophile look of this system. In the four elegant aluminium columns plus the centre you have two big 130 mm woofers, an 80 mm midrange and a 25 mm tweeter. All drivers deliver neutral yet powerful playback.

High End Columns
These 126 cm high column speakers are identically kitted out and present an elegant look, and thanks to their identical kit are simultaneous, homogeneous sound for your home living area.

Setup

The high quality spikes for the column speaker L 520 FCR are included in the delivery. These ensure optimum listening sound and allow a subtle speaker cable linup underneath the speaker into the column. Massive wall mounts are included for the Satellite L 520 FCR and the Centre as well. You'll also receive the L 520 C table feet included in the delivery.

AV -Subwoofer with High Definition Audio
The AV Subwoofer is a bass speaker and an AV Receiver in one housing. Teufel's used this innovative feature before in other products, but we've perfected it for the LT 5 R HD. You've also got HDMI, digital and analogue connections, AM/FM radio, programmed line outputs for other speakers and an external control unit with a remote control.

High Definition
The HDMI allows amazingly sharp pictures (also in 3D!) and sound (DTS HD-Master, Dolby True-HD) to connected Blu-ray players or signal devices. Thanks to the three HDMI inputs, a HDMI output and further outputs, you're well able to play whatever sources you want - be it DVD, CD, MP3 player or others. Two further line-outs make sure your active speakers or passive speakers (with the Teufel RearStation 4) have their place in the sun. Use these to create a 7.1 system or as a sound setup in your kitchen, bathroom or on the patio.

The deep tones

The lower frequency ranges are aptly handled from the 300 mm bass driver with Bassreflex construction with a range down to 32 Hz (-3 dB) and meshes with the satellites and columns perfectly. The efficient amplifier (included in the sub!) has a performance of 750 watts in connection with the L 520 range of column spekaers.

It is rare to find high-quality column speakers that are as perfectly suited to home theatres as these. 1.26 m in height, 16 cm wide and only 14 cm deep, these elegant towers can be placed discreetly in the background or moved forwards to a more prominent location where they add a touch of exclusiveness to your home theatre.

The drivers in these speakers guarantee excellent sound. The long-throw 130 mm woofer is equipped with a phase plug, which ensures that bass frequencies remain very linear. The 80 mm mid-range cone driver faithfully reproduces the mid frequencies between 400 and 3000 Hz, and the extremely light-weight 25 mm fabric dome tweeter provides highs that are both finely detailed and punchy.

These elegant column speakers are made of solid 2 mm aluminium and the tinted glass base plate is fitted with metal spikes to hold each speaker firmly in place. The solid connector terminals are compatible with speaker cables of up to 4 mm in diameter and are recessed into the bases of each column speaker, thus hiding them from view.

The baffles on the slightly rounded sides of the speaker contribute to the special acoustic properties of the L 520 FR. The smooth transition between the front and the sides of the cabinet prevent negative acoustic effects that would otherwise result from hard edges.

A total of three HDMI inputs, a HDMI output, three digital tone inputs (2 coaxial, 1 optical) and two analogue stereo RCA inputs make sure your source devices have their own place in the sun. An AM/FM with automatic search function and RDS is built in. The radio offers 30 memory slots for your FM and another ten for radio programs. Centre Speaker L 520 C

This is the only horizontal speaker in the LT 5 ensemble and it can be placed on a shelf or below a TV. The centre speaker harmonises perfectly with the two identically equipped front speakers to produce a well-balanced and thus realistic listening experience.

Our development team was careful to ensure that all frequency ranges are evenly represented in these speakers. Thus the dome tweeter and mid-range cone driver are also situated above each other on the horizontal centre channel speaker.

This speaker includes a special metal-glass stand permanently fastened to the rear of this cabinet so that it is always held firmly in place.
