Components that convince The remarkable loading capability of 80 watts is guaranteed, thanks to our high-quality components. The 25 mm tweeter and 130 low/midrange driver are almost too big for the small, compact. Get the background msuic you'll enjoy with clear, distortion free sound.
7.1 makes sense Blu-ray discs are including increasingly realistic 7.1 sound. The two additional channels for the rear area are able to play separately from the other satellites, making sure your film enjoyment is not comprosmised. And just try it with your games console...
Virtually without exception
Doesn't matter where you place the satellites from this set: on the wall or a stand, put them there and easily, at that. The terminals accept cables with a cross-cut area of 4 m
m² and even banana plugs! The gold-plated terminals guarantee a reduction in the transmission levels yet again. If you prefer a slightly more heavy heights sound, simply take off the front grille.
Precision in the low ranges The worst part about cheap speaker sets is the absolute dearth of bass. The Teufel (already winning awards in the trade press!) US 51101/1 sub offers bass to spare. The low frequency powerhouse offers an extra long stroke, optimised with Klippel and has a 100 watt sinus amplifier. Add to this the bass reflex enclosure, you've got sound down to 34 Hz. More bass in a compact size like this is simply not possible. It's got additional features, too: the practical automatic limiter to protect from overload is just the icing on this sub's cake.
A center with benefits
With an additional low/mid-range driver and a horizontal format, the VT 12 delivers brilliant language performance. Of course, all the satellites (including the centre) share the same drivers - thus ensuring authentic surround sound for your needs!
Perfect for rooms up to 30 sqm The Viton 71 sounds best in rooms of up to 30 sqm.
Required: an AV Receiver The Viton 71 is a partially active system where the sub has its own amp and is relieved as the AV Receiver. The AV Receiver then manages the signal sources, provides the necessary performance for the satellites and is the corresponding crossover.
Accessories For good signal quality, we recommend speaker cables with a cross section of at least 1.5 m
m². You'll need a sub cable to connect the subwoofer to the AV Receiver. For any cable needs, please take a look at our Accessories section.
Setting up your Viton 71 An acoustically perfect setup is almost never possible. However, the modern AV receiver provides the ability to compensate for slight errors in the playback.
Set up of the Centre Place the centre speaker either over or under the TV set. There is an optional wall mount available for this speaker in our Accessories section.
The front speaker placement The front speakers are set up in accordance with old-school stereo speaker setup (distance to the listener is the same as distance between the left and right speakers). Central and front speakers should be set in a circular arc, so that the "horns" of the setup point to the listening area. This helps in uniformity of sound.
Front speaker setup High front speakers give film sound more spatiality and brilliance. Your AV Receiver must have this so-called front high or "presence" speaker connection. The front high speakers should reside directly on the screen and point to the listening position.
Subwoofer setup The subwoofer is best placed between the two front speakers, but not central. It's not recommended to put baby in the corner. Choose a frequency of 100 Hz for the AV receiver.
