Software-Updates Raumfeld
The Raumfeld software is constantly developed further and updated, many changes being based on your feedback. With the automatic update functionality, all Raumfeld components keep up to date with latest software releases. You can find more information about the system and how to apply updates in our detailed Raumfeld Online Manual.

Due to extensive changes regarding the management of music collections it is required to update all devices and the Raumfeld App.
- To update your Raumfeld App for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, visit the Apple App Store on your iOS device
- To update your Raumfeld App for Android, visit the Google Play Store on your Android device
- To update your Raumfeld devices including the Raumfeld Controller, visit Settings > Maintenance > Updates
Changes with this update:
- Considerably improved performance when loading contents or search results
- Increased limits for your music collection
- Systems without Raumfeld Base: 50.000 tracks instead of formerly 25.000 tracks
- Systems with Connector 2 as host: 150.000 Tracks
- Systems with Raumfeld Base: No limit
- For Connector 2 the level of the line input is now adjustable
- For Connector 2 the sampling rate on the optical output can now be limited as not all receiver devices can cope with high sample rates
Further changes:
- Due to compatibility reasons with the latest versions of Windows and Mac OS we changed the name for accessing the Raumfeld Base in Windows Explorer and Mac OS Finder. Should the Base not be automatically displayed in your file manager, please do the following:
- Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8:
- Enter \\Raumfeld-Base into the address bar of Windows Explorer.
- Alternatively, enter the Base's IP address into the address bar, e.g. \\192.168.10.12
- Mac OS X:
- In the Finder menu, open Go > Connect to server...
- Enter smb://base.local into the field Server Address
- Alternatively, enter the Base's IP address into the Server Address field e.g. \\192.168.10.12
- An authentication dialog will appear
- Select Guest and confirm the dialog by clicking the button Connect
