Concept C 100

This affordable Teufel set delivers sound which is genuinely above par for the PC audio branch. Developed with all the care and foresight put into its larger counterparts, Concept C 100 is a reliable way to enjoy multimedia audio at a high-quality level.

The subwoofer
A large wooden enclosure houses a 200 mm bass driver, which is powered by a dedicated, 35 watt RMS amplifier. The subwoofer is shaped similarly to a PC tower, making it easy to place in an office – or home office – environment.

The satellites
Teufel's high-quality standards apply fully to the Concept C 100's two micro satellite speakers. Each houses a high-performance chassis perfectly tuned for the stereo amplifier housed in the system's subwoofer.

Desks, shelves and wall mounting
Concept C 100 is shipped with speaker stands so the system can be elegantly arranged on a desk. Teufel also offers separately-available solutions for wall mounting or speaker stand placement.

The terminals
In addition to a sound card input, the Concept C 100 has additional terminals on its wired remote control designed to sit flat on a table. In addition to easy access to volume and bass controls, the wired remote provides a headphone and microphone jack. It's perfect for gaming and Internet telephony.

Connecting to a PC/Mac/notebook
The Concept C 100 is ideal for connection to any computer. The connection is made via the computer’s 3.5 mm stereo mini-jack. You will probably need a Y adapter (3.5 mm mini-jack to 2 x cinch). Simply connect the stereo jack to the audio output on the computer and the cinch plugs to the R/L inputs on the subwoofer. The two satellite speakers are connected to the subwoofer via a speaker cable.

Connecting to an MP3 player, satellite receiver, TV set, CD player, gaming console, DJ mixer, etc.
This is where the universal applicability of the Concept C 100 really comes to the fore: because it really can be directly connected to any of the above-mentioned devices, and play back sounds via the subwoofer and the two satellites. Depending on the output socket on the source device, you will need either stereo cinch cable or a Y adapter (3.5 mm stereo mini-jack to 2 x cinch) to connect to the Aux input on the woofer.

Set-up
For a PC sound system it is always advisable to focus on the sound requirements of the PC workplace, i.e. the area where the screen and receivers are located. The subwoofer can be placed anywhere and will not affect the other speakers. Placement anywhere along a straight line between the two satellites is ideal.

Accessories
Due to the widely varying customer requirements, the Concept C 100 is supplied without a connecting cable. We offer you suitably configured cable combinations.

These specially prepared cable sets vary depending on usage requirements and room size. To connect to a PC, we recommend using the AC 1002 WS or AC 1512 WS sets.

• Stereo cinch cable (1.00 metre)
• Y adapter cable 2 x cinch > stereo mini-jack (1.00 metre)
• Speaker cable 0.75 mm² x 10 metres long (AC 1002 WS)
or speaker cable 1.5 mm² x 15 metres long (AC 1512 WS)

To ensure the microphone functionality of the supplied remote control, a 3.5 mm mini-jack cable is also required.
 
Table base–wall bracket–base
The satellites of the Concept C 100 are supplied with suitable table bases.
If you prefer to wall-mount your speakers you will need the optional Shortlock brackets.
Placement on a stand is possible using the M 50 P which can be supplied in silver or black.

Satellite Speaker CE 10 FCR The CE 10 FCR micro satellite delivers unbelievable performance despite its compact size.
Thanks to a high-performance driver with an 80 mm diameter and a subwoofer with active filtering, it can powerfully play back the complete frequency range between mid-tone and treble without breaks or distortion. The curved front ensures better sound radiation than previous conventional constructions.

The acoustically transparent cover of the 9 x 9 centimetre sound marvel can be removed for “open” operation, but normally has a “floating” mounting: Benefits: Minimisation of edge reflections. A curved front provides improved sound radiation compared to previous constructions.

The supplied matching table stand ensures optimal placement options on a desk or shelf. An optional Shortlock bracket can be used to fasten and then horizontally/vertically swivel the cube. The separately available M 60 P base is an alternative stand placement option.

2.1 Subwoofer CC 100 SW

2.1 Subwoofer CC 100 SW The CC 100 SW has an amplifier with a total of 100 watt distributed to the three channels: for the internal 200 mm bass speaker and the two external micro satellites. The cinch stereo input at the rear is used for connecting to a PC or any other analogue audio source. The shape of the woofer is similar to a PC tower, making it fit in well with a desktop environment.

The supplied table-top remote control is connected by cable and is designed to allow the simultaneous connection/use of headphones and microphone. It also controls the total volume and bass level.

The CC 100 SW is only available as part of a Concept C 100 set.
