Construction The T 300 gains an acoustic advantage through its solid build and a strutted MDF fibreboard enclosure. Despite its substantial 11 litre volume, these speakers can easily be positioned in many different locations.
Tweeter A larger than average, 28 mm and 2800 hertz fabric dome tweeter with a neodym magnet system handles high frequencies for the T 300.
Waveguide A special "Waveguide" mold surrounding the tweeter guarantees homogenous, even distribution of sound. This significantly reduces any burden on the driver's hub. Any echo from the room's walls is kept at an absolute minimum.
Mid- to low-range driver
A 170 mm chassis in a stable metal basketoptimised for currents with a lacquered paper-sandwich cone membrane comes into play.
Precision The T 300 is designed to render bass for analytic listening without artificial inflation. Individual bass parts are consistently clear and differentiated, a fact the meticulously tuned bass reflex construction plays a central role in. The reflex discharge is located on the back side of the enclosure, directly above a connector panel with stable, gold-plated screw terminals.
Crossover An elaborate crossover with high-quality, distortion-resistant components (such as film capacitors for the tweeter) ensures individual frequency blocks are distributed to the appropriate drivers. This further sets the T 300 apart from other stereo speakers in its price range.
Positioning Thanks to the T 300's neutral tuning, these speakers can be mounted on walls or freely placed throughout a room. Their enclosures fit perfectly and easily with corresponding Teufel wall mounts and floor stands.
Combinations With a high, 87db/m degree of efficiency, the T 300 can be used with amplifiers starting at 30 watts per channel. However, the speakers benefit from any increase in amplifier quality. A maximum capacity of 120 watts ensures significant "upwards" leeway.
Room space The T 300 is an ideal listening companion for distances up to 4.1 metres, as are commonly found in rooms up to 30 sqm.
