Why PhonoStation 1?
The natural and pleasant sound of vinyls continue to be largely popular. Many AV-receivers, stereo amplifiers and home cinema systems, however, do not have the means of connection to a turntable via phono input. Or if they do, the resulting sound may be noisy, weak or aggressive. The cure to this comes in the form of a small auxillary device: Phonostation 1.

Enjoy vinyl once again
A PhonoStation 1 will bring your vinyl collection back to life: Experience balanced sound, with crystal-clear voices and instruments, rich bass, and delicate high tones.

Absolute Quality
After much effort, the individual components have been precisely trimmed to provide excellent tonality. The circuit layout has been optimized for a perfectly low-noise preamplifier. A steady power flow ensures low tolerance of the external power supply.

Adjusts to any turntable
No matter whether you use an MC or MM pick-up system – the switch on the back creates perfect matching with minimal distortion. Not just that, but the ground connection prevents unwanted humming. An appropriate ground wire is attached to the device.

Attractive
The sturdy metal housing is designed to provide optimal shielding. Thanks to gold-plated inputs and outputs, resistance connections are kept as low as possible. A subtle white LED screen shows the current operations of the device.

Inspiring
Rejuvenating your black vinyls is what the PhonoStation 1 does best. At the absolute best Teufel-price, you can evoke sound from your records like never before. Experience your old and new favorites in top resolution and brilliance. Simple. Flexible. At the highest level.

Help regarding this product
Why do I need the PhonoStation 1 to be connected to the Receiver/Amplifier?
Not every AV-receiver/amplifier has a phono-input. If the output of the record player is connected with a normal line-in connection, the sound of the phono-signal will be distorted and the AV-receiver/amplifier, as well as the speakers can be damaged.
What is the difference between an MM- and MC- pickup system?
The needle of the cartridge that is near the coil (located around the magnetic field generating permanent magnet), oscillates with an MM pick-up system ("moving magnet"). Thanks to the position changes of the needle during oscillation, and according to the law of induction, the magnet field in this coil will change and thus create voltage. MM- pickup systems are the most commonly used systems.

With an MC- pickup system ("Moving Coil"), one finds a coil (that moves within the magnetic field of a permanent magnet) on the cartridge needle. Through this movement within the coil a voltage is created. MC- pickup provides cleaner sound properties; however, it is less commonly used due to its complicated construction.
Can I order the Teufel speakers in different colours than those offered?
To realise the very reasonable sales prices usual for Teufel, it is not possible to offer the speakers in a multitude of housing designs.

This circumstance would drive up the production and storage costs, which would result in a significantly more expensive sales price.

A paint shop in your vicinity will surely be able to repaint the speaker housing to your preferred colour without loss of warranty - after expiry of the eight-week right of return.
