- Two adjustable 250 mm woofers driven by 150 watt amplifiers for bass down to 38 Hz
- Recessed tweeter for group delay correction = perfect dimensionality & differentiation
- Works with all standard stereo amplifiers - can be expanded into a 5.2 set
- The stereo version of the award-winning Theater 6 Hybrid home cinema set
2) The Wave-Guide around the tweeter ensures wide sound dispersion and delivers crystal-clear reproduction to almost all listening positions.
3) The two 130 mm mid-range drivers sit particularly close to the tweeter, resulting in an almost point-shaped sound source - guaranteeing a clean stereo panorama and precise localisation of voices and instruments.
4) The double, large mid-range driver design makes voices and acoustic instruments sound very warm. The Theater 6 Hybrid, for example, reproduces classical music more subtly than any other home cinema set in this class.
The Theater 6 Hybrid sounds exactly how you want it: from powerful to balanced. You control the subwoofer level at the rear of the speakers - a high-pass filter removes low frequencies if necessary to avoid buzzing noises even in rooms that are not acoustically optimised.
The Theatre 6 Hybrid’s floor-standing speakers were designed with sealed enclosures for a more precise bass response. This design also allows placement near or directly up against walls. High excursion drivers in gigantic sound chambers enable an extremely deep low end. Fired by a 100-Watt amplifier and guided by DSP, these efficient speakers will produce a good result with any entry level A/V receiver.
The basic tuning of the subwoofer is linear between 38 Hz and 100 Hz, however, it can be adjusted continuously from -6 dB to +6 dB on a digital level to suit the type of installation and personal preferences.

"The Teufel set quickly showed its first strength: Very good 3-dimensionality [...] with clear, differentiated positioning of the sound sources. [...]. Bass and snare, on the other hand, came from the middle and the cymbals crashed from the left and then right in the room. The Teufel set plays with dynamic agility [...]. At no time does [...] the bass seem clustered or unpleasantly conspicuous. It instead sounds like it is seamlessly connected to the whole with pleasant dynamics and real punch.“
"[T]he Teufels prove themselves to be real work horses with stable levels that really go to it and which score points for an expansive bass and cleanly differentiated tonal segmentation.”
"Speaking of tone: What can one expect in this regard from the ‚Teufels‘? Well, an overall and in a positive sense, dry and essentially neutral sound. In the subwoofer’s flat setting, the T6 Hybrid has a contured bass at its disposal that reaches real depths and which seamlessly attaches itself to the midrange. In the upper range, they show themelves to be tireless, everything other than intrusive and yet with a clean and differentiated reproduction.”
"In the flat setting, the Teufel subwoofer reminds me of my – in this respect, very neutral - everyday speakers in their bass power. This supports the idea tha tthe T6 Hybrid or H600 F, were not primarily intended to be "fun speakers“ with striking playback. However, when one turns the subwoofer up a little, it’s possible to [...] transforms the Teufel T6 Hybrid into "party speakers“ at any time. It’s pretty impressive to observe how undistorted and with what level stability yet how clearly they than play.”
"Teufel shows how it’s done: For a more than moderate price of 1,200 Euro, they are able to create absolutely “mature” or “big” (level stability bass authority, broad dynamics) sounding floorstanding speakers that, in addition, make some significantly more expensive speakers of this type seem old. In terms of the concept, the mistake of pushing the “fun factor” to the fore with an emphasis on bass was avoided. The Teufel speakers are much more neutral; yet this can be changed as needed or according to personal perference with a small turn of the regulator. And even when they have more air to push in the lower end, the Teufel T 6 Hybrids remain amazingly stable in their levels and undistorted.”

"Get a lot for little money – this principle is consequently followed by the T 6 Hybrid. [...] Balanced, with great fullness and a bass that is always present without pushing itself into the foreground, both T 6's secured a overall result even here that was worth hearing. [...] The entire sound envelopes the listener, transfixes him and engages him. [...] Both of the active subwoofers in the lower part oft he speakers display an excellent bass and an enormous liveliness in the low range.”
"Teufel’s partially active transducers aspire to the highest class, even as a stereo loudspeaker pair. [...] Visually unmistakable, [...] they offer excellent acoustic properities: Powerful bass with exceptional depth, a cleanly structured midrange with well articulated vocal characteristics, amazingly free as well as broadly dispersed treble range – for just 600 Euro per speaker, this is an unbeatable total package. Where else can one find such a good and inexpensive speaker?”

The T6 Hybrid uses a sealed enclosure resplendent with first-class workmanship and a very elegant white look.
[There] are two ways of controlling the bass: Either a conventional loudspeaker cable delivers the required feed from which signal the DSP pulls forth the deep bass parts and the bass amplifier is put on hold, or one uses the separate sub input […]. Levels and the low end can be easily set by means of a potentiometer on the connection terminal. [...]
[T]he T6 Hybrid [produces] a harmonious sound. With the right set up, the sound image is convincingly realistic: [...] Especially with [...] top quality music productions, the neutral tuning of the Teufel’s set’s mid-to-high range asserts itself [...]. Thanks to the support of double subwoofer, the bass sounded remarkably rich and [...] not at all sluggish or lacking in definition. [...] The stereo-affine AUDIO testers were of course not insensible to the A/V tuning, but rather approved of it: More rockin‘ tunes with a focus on bass are a lot of fun with the Teufel system.
The Teufel set had a […] striking sound and offers a good solution for beginners.
