Connecting a sound card
Teufel Audio’s fully active loudspeaker systems have multichannel amplifiers integrated into the subwoofer enclosure so that all satellite speakers can be directly connected to the subwoofer. For connecting to the sound source (in this case, your sound card), there is an analogue multichannel input on the subwoofer enclosure with a cinch interface for each channel. Connections to the computer sound card are usually made with a 3.5 mm jack plug. The advantage with this type of connection is that up to three separate channels can be transmitted via a single plug.
Connecting to a stereo source is very easy. All that’s required is a suitable splitter cable (jack RCA plug) with which the sound source can be connected to the front left and front right speakers. If the device that you intend to connect already has a stereo output, it can be directly connected per RCA cable. As long as both front channels are connected, the integrated switch that sends the audio to all satellites and the subwoofer is activated.

Once everything is connected, all that remains to be done is select the appropriate settings in the sound card’s confirguration program. The exact method for doing this varies depending on the software.
